Kalianyar Residents Participating Fire Handling Training

Hundreds of resident of RW 02, 05, and 06, Kalianyar Urban Village, Tambora Sub-district, West Jakarta participated the fire handling training. The recruitment to be the fire handling task force is aimed to reduce the fire case in West Jakarta.

Task force will support Sub-dept. of fire handling and rescue extinguishing fire before its getting bigger

Jakarta Head Dept. of Fire Handling and Rescue, Subejo, said task force is important to be placed at settlement. Especially for dense population area such as Kalianyar Urban Village, Tambora Sub-district.

“Task force will support Sub-dept. of fire handling and rescue extinguishing fire before its getting bigger,” he said, Sunday (11/27).

Marunda Flat Residents Trained How to Handle Fire

Meanwhile, West Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Fire Handling and Rescue, Hardisiswan, said each RWs has 50 task forces from local residents. The training was held through a CSR program from Djarum Foundation.

“The participants were trained how to extinguish fire with wet sack and light extinguisher,” he added.

The company also gave fire extinguishers to the areas of participants.
