2 Billboards on Toll Road Lowered

Two commercial billboards at KM 7 toll road, Cipayung Sub-District, East Jakarta, were lowered by local Satpol PP due to violating installation zone and did not have permit from East Jakarta Tax Services Sub-Department Region 1.

We usually lowered 20-50 banners every week. Most of those banners were residential commercial

“We controlled a billboard in the size of 2x20 meters belongs to Mitra 10 and a 3x25-meter billboard belongs to Raffles Hills Residential,” stated staff of East Jakarta Satpol PP City Facilities, Ajat Sudrajat, Friday (5/23).

The control involved 25 personnel of Satpol PP, East Jakarta Resort Police, local Building Control Sub-Department (P2B), and East Jakarta Tax Services Sub-Department Region 1. In addition, the officers also lowered two banners sized 4x10 meters belong to TMII which installed in front of Tamini Square. In this case, TMII promised to immediately pay the retribution of their banners.

3 Vehicles Ticketed Due to Illegal Parking

“TMII authorities directly made a statement letter stating they will pay their banners’ tax retribution. But for now, the banners are still lowered,” stressed Sudrajat.

Meanwhile, Head of East Jakarta Satpol PP City Facilities and Infrastructures, Agus Sidik, explained that this control was conducted because many illegal banners as well as billboards are popping up every week.

We usually lowered 20-50 banners every week. Most of those banners were residential commercial. The areas where most illegal banners found are Ciracas, Duren Sawit, Matraman Balimester, and on Jalan Pemuda Rawamangun,” he uttered.
