A connecting channel's wall at Jl Abdul Jalil, Karet Tengsin, Tanah Abang, Central Jakarta was collapsed up to 10 meters. As a result, the road that located next to the entrance of SDN 01 Karet Tengsin also collapsed and cannot be passed.

Sulaeman, a school guard of SDN 01 Karet Tengsin disclosed the collapse has spread to the road in front of the school, Sunday (12/4) at dawn.

Central Jakarta Water Management Sub-dept, Dicky Suherlan suspected the channel wall cannot hold the load of the passing vehicle, considering it has entered rainy season.
"Repair has been started today by sending 10 personnel," he expressed.
Dicky added, the repair is conducted by using manual method without heavy equipment. It is targeted to be finished two weeks.
