Teens of Street Lights at Jl Daan Mogot Malfunctioned

A number of street lights type LED that installed on two sides of Jl Daan Mogot, precisely from Grogol towards Pesing or vice versa are malfunctioned.

Based on Beritajakarta.com's data, the malfunctioned street light can easily be found nearby the Grogol Red Light until Gas Station. And its number is approximately reaching 15 street lights.

Yoga (48), a food peddler in Daan Mogot stated that street light has malfunctioned since four days ago when strong winds occurred.

"Many street lights are malfunctioned. It has been ongoing since four days ago when it rains accompanied by strong wind," he expressed, Tuesday (12/6).

He expressed, the street is crowded by vehicles every 24 hours. To create convenience and safety, those street lights must be repaired.

Head of West Jakarta Industry and Energy Sub-dept, Saukani expressed his side has yet to know about such matter. But it is allegedly due to electrical cables that have been damaged by extreme weather a few days ago.

"But, for the sake of safety and convenience of the public, we will immediately do repair," he stated.
