Until now, as many as 16,000 civil servants (PNS) have bought cheap rice from PT Food Station Tjipinang through in minimart outlets in the capital using money from Regional Performance Allowance (TKD).

PT Food Station Tjipinang Director, Arief Prasetyo disclosed, rice that bought by PNS is a medium rice for Rp 13,000 per kilogram with a five-kilogram package sizes.

"This is salary cut, but taken from TKD," he stated, Wednesday (12/7).

He expressed, last month, the number of PNS which bought rice at the minimart outlet is reaching 9,000 people with 180 tons. The number has increased 16,000 people with 240 tons of rice.

"Those who have not bought the rice are employees of Jakarta Health Dept and Education Dept," he finished.
