Preventing Dengue, PSN Intensified at Seven Places

North Jakarta Administration urges the anti-mosquito campaign (PSN) can be held at seven places. It is to suppress dengue fever case.

Mayor of North Jakarta, Wahyu Hariyadi disclosed, the PSN at the seven places such as household or residential, education institution, office, public place, food center, sport facility and health facility must be intensified. To support it, he asked village chief to be more active.

"Last year, the dengue case was reaching 968 cases. This is warning for us. We must handle this together," he expressed, Wednesday (12/7).

Meanwhile, Head of North Jakarta Health Sub-dept, Muhammad Helmi disclosed, the dengue case is a problem that must be faced together. It takes a good cooperation of all parties thus PSN can be done well.

"People also need to realize and understand the problems of dengue. Hence, may play a role in eradication," he said.
