Jakarta Dept. of Transportation sterilizes Kota Tua from legal and illegal parking. Only several buildings have parking lot with limited amount of vehicles.

Sigit Wijatmoko, agency’s vice, said parking lot is prepared on Jalan Cengkeh. Some of business buildings still have parking lot with limited vehicle amount.
“We are still consistent with Jakarta Provincial Government’s policy to sterilize Kota Tua from parking,” he said.
100 Tanjung Trees Planted Along Jl CengkehHis agency gives dispensation for some business buildings having parking lot.
In order to support the policy, 42 parking attendants license has been revoked. They are moved to Jalang Cengkeh and local market. The lot is able to accommodate 100 motorcycles, 80 cars, and 20 tourist buses.
