The revenue of waste retribution in South Jakarta during January-November 2016 has reached Rp 2.2 billion. The retribution was taken from management of 1,200 tons of commercial waste which was transported daily by using 252 trucks.

South Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Cleanliness, Syarifudin, said the commercial waste was taken from areas like offices, restaurants, hotels, and so on.

“Rp 2.2 billion is imposed to non residential category,” he said, Tuesday (12/20).

In order to handle waste better, the trucks were already added by 31 units to become 283 units. His side also has garbage compactor by 20 units.

“We also have system of disposing and transporting time,” he closed.
