Good news, a car free night will be held again during celebration of New Year's Eve. In the event, traffic from Jl Jenderal Sudirman and MH Thamrin will be closed.

This year, we'll hold car free night in Sudirman and Thamin areas. There will be five entertainment stages

City Secretary, Saefullah disclosed traffic closure will be imposed gradually at 5 PM. At 6 PM, traffic will be closed totally for vehicles. 

"This year, we'll hold car free night in Sudirman and Thamin areas. There will be five entertainment stages," he stated, at City Hall, Wednesday (12/21).

According to him, it is imposed until 1 AM. The hotel guests in surrounding area are urged to adjust with the applicable procedure. 

"Those who want to stay in hotel around Thamrin and Sudirman must have been inside the hotel prior to traffic closure," he expressed.

He added that such event is held on Saturday (12/31). "Thus on the next day or Sunday, the car free day would be abolished," he finished.
