Wage Budget for 603 New PHL Is Ready

Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Dept is about to recruit the freelancer (PHL) as ranks of volunteer fire (Balakar). The Bappeda has prepared budget for their wage for one month ahead.

"We'll recruit 603 freelancers as Balakar. Before sent to the field, they would be trained for 10 days at the education and training center," he stated, Thursday (12/22).

Training that given is about basic fire prevention. In addition debriefing disciplines, physical and mental will also be provided. They will become the foundation of Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Dept. This is because human resource is still lacking. Ideally, each fleet should be six people. However, there is only about 3-4 personnel.

Meanwhile, Head of Government Sub-Section for Jakarta Bappeda, Dany Sumirat disclosed has prepared budget for freelance wage for one month ahead. It was approved by the council and ratified.

"Next year, we hope there will be additional freelancer for our division," he hoped.
