Security Level During Christmas and New Year Tightened

Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono hoped the celebration of Christmas and New Year could run smoothly.

"I hope all can run smoothly. So all can feel safe and do not need to worry," he stated, at City Hall, Thursday (12/22).

City Prepares Christmas and New Year Supporting Facilities

He disclosed, at this time, various preparations have been done, either officer or facility.

"The government through police ensures security during Christmas and New Year," he asserted.

He also asks residents to maintain inter-religious tolerance. Thus people who celebrate the big day can feel safe and comfortable.

"Let us honor the celebration of Christmas. Just let our brothers and sisters of diverse Christian pilgrimage safely and peacefully," he stated.

Along with Polda Metro Jaya, his party continues to coordinate in terms of security level. At least there will be 150,000 personnel alerted.

"Let us welcome the Christmas and New Year with a safe and comfortable atmosphere," he disclosed.
