Jokowi Inaugurated Kelapa Gading MarketThe Cikini Gold Centre located in front of Cikini Station is a market that sells gold and jewelry in Indonesia, having a land as wide as 4.439 square meters with a total of 788 business places with 478 kiosks, 129 stalls, 73 counters, and 84 workshops.
While for the Gondangdia Market, the market that has a land as wide as 3.835 square meters can accommodate 372 business places, 264 kiosks and 108 stalls selling clothes, gold, grocery, etc. As for the Gembrong Market that has a land as wide as 6.098 square meters can accommodate 572 business places, 318 kiosks, and 254 stalls selling daily needs, like vegetable, meat, clothes, and gold.
The city administration and PD Pasar Jaya will keep conducting construction or rejuvenation against traditional markets. in the last five years, the governor has inaugurated 8 traditional markets in the city. Previously, Jokowi also inaugurated the Cijantung and Ciplak Markets (North Jakarta), Jembatan Dua and Pos Pengumben Markets (West Jakarta), and Kelapa Gading Market (North Jakarta).
