Ministry of Transportation is about to evaluate boat taxi or passenger boat operational from Jakarta-Seribu Islands. As planned, its operational from Jakarta will be centered at Kali Adem Harbor, Muara Angke. 

We still operate boat taxi using new qualification and requirement

Minister of Transportation, Budi Karya Sumadi disclosed that there should be a good arrangement to support the boat taxi in accordance with safety standard.

"We still operate boat taxi using new qualification and requirement," he expressed," he expressed, Tuesday (1/3).

Even he intends to evaluate the boat taxi and other boat services that operate from Muara Angke and Sunda Kelapa harbors. Ideally, its operation would be better centered at Kali Adem Harbor.

Hence, he plans to coordinate with City Provincial Government soon in order to create the safe and comfort service for public.

"We'll do coordination soon. I think it could be realized for better supervision also," he closed.
