Three Tons of Trash Picked Up From Jati Pulo

Three tons of trash were transported by freelancer under Palmerah Sub-district Water Management, West Jakarta from Jati Pulo Connecting Channel (PHB).

Head of West and North Water Agency Execution Unit, Richard disclosed that trash that stuck on the filter of Jati Pulo Connectiong Channel is from a drain in the settlement during New Year celebration.

This is because, after New Year, as many as four freelancers who assigned maintain the filter have collected five tons of trash.

"That means, public awareness about cleanliness is still low. Evidently, despite the event is over, our officer still found three tons of trash from the channel," he stated, Tuesday (3/1).

He added the existence of the officer is to always create cleanlinees for Jati Pulo Connecting Channel thus water can flow smoothly and not dirty thr West Flood Canal (KBB).

"Aside that, it also aims to minimize puddle in Jati Pulo," he finished.
