20 Motorcycles on Jl Kapten Tendean Disciplined

Due to illegal parking, as much as 20 motorcycles that parked on Jl Kapten Tendean, Mampang Prapatan, South Jakarta were disciplined by South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept, Thursday (1/5).

Head of South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept, Christianto disclosed majority of motorcycles that parked illegally are belonging the online motorcycle-taxi driver and courier.

"They know how to pick up passenger but instead park on the roadside and the sidewalk. Even a few vehicles left by the driver to deliver goods into the building. Despite it's in a minute, but it will cause congestion," he expressed.

He added, his side also coordinates with building security officer to give reprimand to the driver after the raid.

"Residents have been complaining this matter to governor. That's why we do the raid to give deterrent effect," he finished.
