“Some of them have moved to another area but did not report,” said Edison Sianturi, agency’s head.

At this moment, his side conducts data consolidation with Home Ministry through Directorate General of Population and Civil Registration. It is aimed to know whether they have recorded their data in outside Jakarta or not.

1.35 Percent Jakartans Haven’t Recorded e-ID Card

“The number is important to us to reach 100 percent target of recording,” he added.

Based on the data, of 7.2 million Jakarta residents, only 1.2 percent have not recorded the data or 90 thousand people. The number has exceeded the target by 6.7 million people in 2013.
