West Jakarta Administration prioritizes PKL controlling on sidewalk and roadside. The effort targets Asemka Morning Market and Kota Tua.

“I have instructed Satpol PP Head to sterilize sidewalk and roadside from PKL, especially at Asemka Morning Market and Kota Tua,” said Anas Efendi, West Jakarta Mayor.
He wants urban village and sub-district heads to be able to find location for PKL arrangement.
Tens of PKL Stalls on Jalan Bank Indonesia Controlled“The controlled PKL will be moved to area we have prepared before,” he added.
West Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Tarno Sijabat, admitted his side had controlled PKL at those two areas many time.
“We have controlled the PKL, but they always come back,” he stated.
