KM Express Bahari 3B Officially Operated

The Express Bahari 3B Motorboat (KM) serving Sunda Kelapa Pier-Tidung Island is officially operated. The motorboat is the fast boat with a capacity of 208 people plus 6 boat crews.

"The boat will support the development of Seribu Islands as national tour destination," expressed Sumarsono, Jakarta Acting Governor, after he attended boat launching at Sunda Kelapa Pier, North Jakarta, Tuesday (1/10).

Raid Against Taxi Boat Conducted in Kali Adem Pier

After launching, there will be similar boats under PT Pelni to operate and serve other islands in Seribu Islands.

"In future, all boats belonging to Pelni will dock from Kali Adem Pier," he explained.

There are also improvement that should be done, including Kali Adem Pier deepening from 2-2.5 meters. In the meantime, for KM Express size, the pier must be deepened about 3-4 meters.
