Fire Guts Luxury House in Pasar Minggu

A fire had gutted a two-story luxury house at Jl Pejaten Mas, RT 011/002, Pasar Minggu, South Jakarta, Wednesday (1/11), at around 9 AM. Allegedly, it is due to electricity short-circuit.

No casualties in the incident. But one person was injured after being hit by splinters of glass

Based on the information gathered, fire occurred when the owner was inside. Suddenly they were surprised by thick smoke from a plafond of the house. Local citizens then yell fire. Assisted by other locals, the owner was trying to put out the flames, but failed. Luckily, five fire trucks arrived and immediately took action.

"No casualties in the incident. But one person was injured after being hit by splinters of glass," said Sector VIII Head of Kalibata, South Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept, A Sukoco.

To put out the flames, five trucks deployed to the scene and managed to control situation within 40 minutes. As for the injured person, immediately treated by PMI officer.
