Traditional Boat Taxi Will Be Retained

Although KM Express Bahari 3B is launched, the traditional boat taxi operational which has been serving Jakartans from North Jakarta to Seribu Islands will remain in operation.

"We still retain boat taxi in Seribu Islands for the safety of all parties," expressed Sumarsono, Jakarta Acting Governor, Tuesday (1/10).

To get affordable service, KM Express Bahari 3B ticket fare will be the same with boat taxi. For trip from Sunda Kelapa-Tidung Island pier, people will be charged Rp 45,000.

Boat Taxi Supervision in Seribu Islands Tightened

As reported before, KM Express Bahari 3B under PT Pelni can accommodate 208 passengers. Previously, the company had also launched KM Sabuk Nusantara 46.
