Council Help to Resolve Block G Market Problem

City Council (DPRD) gives input related to the deserted trading activity in Tanah Abang Block G Market, Central Jakarta.

"The connecting bridge between Block G-F Market to Tanah Abang Station must be integrated," disclosed Prabowo Soenirman, member of DPRD Commission B, Wednesday (1/11).

Council Wants Flat to Have Parking Basement

He questioned the slow construction of the connecting bridge between Block G to F and Tanah Abang Station. "We hope the bridge could be completed soon as access to shopping in Tanah Abang," he expressed.

Soenirman also requested Block G to be transformed into a thematic market.

"Block G is more suitable for screen printing and tailor business," he expressed.

He is optimistic, the market will be crowded again if the bridge is operated.

"So, this matter is not solely due to the inadequacy of the parking lot," he stated.
