8 Temporary Places Reconstruction in S. Jakarta Involving CSR

At least 8 temporary places (loksem) for merchants in South Jakarta will be reconstructed. Mostly will be reconstructed by private corporate through Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program. There is only one location, Loksem Pasar Minggu, which will be reconstructed by using City Budget 2017.

Later on, building in Blok A can accommodate to 70 fruit sellers, and Blok B can accommodate to 70 vegetable sellers

South Jakarta Head of Sub-dept. of Small Middle Enterprise and Trade (KUKMP), Syamsu Rizal Khadafi said that 3 of 8 locations are being reconstructed. Those three are, Loksem Kali Bata, Lokasi Binaan (Lokbin) Pasar Minggu Blok C, and Loksem Jalan Barito.

Rizal added that Loksem Kalibata are devoted to Durian seller. This location can accommodate to 30 sellers.

"Until now the progress is still 50 percent," he added.

For Loksem Jalan Barito' progress still 30 percent, and Lokbin Pasar Minggu in Blok C is still in reconstruction due to collapsed bridge incident long time ago.

The 5 other temporary locations are in planning of reconstruction. There are Loksem Setiabudi (2 locations; which is in back of Atmajaya University and in Wisma Bakrie, Setiabudi Selatan), Loksem Kuningan Barat (near Department of Tourism and Culture) which accommodate 60 sellers, Loksem Bulungan (behind Blok M Plaza), Loksem in Nyi Ageng Serang and last in Blok S.

He informed that for Lokbin Pasar Minggu Blok A and B will be in total reconstruction. The budget will be taken from City Budget 2017 worth Rp 1.8 billion.

"Now it is still in planning stage. If it's already been auctioned, it will be worked on immediately. Later on, building in Blok A can accommodate to 70 fruit sellers, and Blok B can accommodate to 70 vegetable sellers," he closed.
