As many as 170 personnel of UPK Badan Air from 8 sub-district in West Jakarta were assigned to clean trash along Kali Inspeksi Palmerah, Slipi Urban Village, Palmerah Sub-district, Thursday (1/12).

Based on Beritajakarta.com observation, officers swept trash for about 5 kilometers, from Pasar Pisang to Taman Cattleya.
West Jakarta Head Sub-dept. of Environment, Edy Mulyanto, said that they will hold activities to collect trash along inspection road every week.

Meanwhile, Head Unit of UPK Badan Air West Jakarta, Pahala Tua, stated two heavy equipment and trucks were deployed during the activity.
"We urge citizen who live around inspection river to help Jakarta Provincial Government not to throw garbage carelessly", he closed.
