Sheet Pile of Drain on Jl H Sanyar Needs Repair

Citizens living in RW 06, Penggilingan Urban Village, Cakung, East Jakarta are requesting the related unit to repair a damaged sheet pile on Jl H Sanyar.
This is because the soil is often landslides and cover the drain, precisely at the part that doesn't have sheet pile
The complaint was conveyed by Head of Penggilingan Urban Village, Usdiati to Head of East Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept., Yazied Bustomi, on the sidelines of Activity of Cleanliness Sunday Morning (AKMP) in his region.
Usdiati disclosed, she has repeatedly got public complaint about development and reparation of sheet pile in the drain as long as 200 meters. Because of damaged sheet pile, the drain cannot accommodate and flow water optimally towards Pinus Elok River.

She explained, drain on Jl H Sanyar, accommodating water from some drains in RW 06 before flowing into Pinus Elok River. Hence, its function should be optimized which aims to minimize inundation.
On the other hand, Head of East Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept., Yazied Bustomi revealed to immediately follow up citizen request. As planned, sheet pile development would use river stone and concrete materials.
"We'll discuss it soon. This is our priority this year," he disclosed.
