PT Pulomas Jaya Director, Bambang Mursalin disclosed that his side is still trying to get EDFZ certification from the OIE. To get it, proposal was also sent to Ministry of Agriculture.

"We've done approaching on OIE. But, it should be discussed by the ministry, because it is government to government (G to G). Indeed it needs time," he stated, Tuesday (1/17).

He added, bubble to bubble system is set up as an alternative if the certification is not obtained ahead of the 2018 Asian Games. This is because, the issuance of the certification process takes up to three years.

Such system is an animal health surveillance method, ranging from coming until back to the native country. All this time, in Indonesia, there will also be a regular inspection.

"Any horse will be protected, sterile from all interference in any country. The system is also recognized by OIE and has been applied in some countries," he disclosed.
