Jakarta Acting Governor, Sumarsono, asked the field officer to tighten security as an effort to prevent unwanted things at Pasar Senen, Central Jakarta.

Around six hours, the flames that has destroyed kiosks of Block I and II, Pasar Senen cannot be extinguished yet. Whereas, as many as 57 fire trucks have been sent to the scene.

"Indeed, it has not been extinguished all. It is due to strong winds when fire happens. So it's not yet one hundred percent," he expressed.

Temporary report mentions, the cause of fire is due to electricity short-circuit. But, it will be explored deeply. "This is an interim report. It will be identified again. Alleged temporary is because of electricity short-circuit," he finished.
