Saber Pungli Team Formed in Central Jakarta

Central Jakarta Administration along with army/police and General Attorney Office (Kejari) have formed an anti-illegal levy task force (tim saber pungli). The saber itself has 50 members.

Operation in the field will be executed secretly

Mayor of Central Jakarta, Mangara Pardede disclosed the person who serves, as Chairman of Saber Pungli Team Execution is Vice Chief of Central Jakarta Resort Police, AKBP Asep Guntur Rahayu. The team will be spread to monitor public service.

Saber Pungli Team Demanded to Work Maximally

To eradicate pungli, he continued, there must also be role of residents. For pungli victims, to immediately make a report via qlue.

The all civil servants under Central Jakarta Administration, he asserted, are prohibited from engaging in pungli. "Surely we will give sanction to those involved," he said.
