A warehouse of SMA Muhammadiyah 2, Jalan Garuda, Gunung Sahari Selatan Urban Village, Kemayoran Sub-district, Central Jakarta was destroyed by a fire at 12.25 PM, Monday (1/23). It is allegedly due to electricity short-circuit.

In the incident, panic had occurred because of the burnt warehouse near the school's canteen. Along with school residents, local citizens were trying to put out the blaze. Luckily, at that time, they got assistance from seven fire trucks.
Head of Kemayoran Sub-district Sector VI for Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-dept., Unggul Wibowo disclosed that the blaze also burned books inside.
