Illegal Parking Back to Rampant on Jl. Kebayoran Lama

Although it has been controlled repeatedly, an illegal parking on Jl. Kebayoran Lama, South Jakarta is still rampant. Tens of public transports, motorcycles and private cars are seen parking and picking up passenger haphazardly on the roadside and causing traffic jam.

School students feel uneasy when they pass the place

Relying on beritajakarta.com's data, public transport that picks up passenger along Jl. Kebayoran Lama is dominated by Mikrolet minivans 09 (Kebayoran Lama-Tanah Abang). And it is followed by bajajs, motorcycles and pick-up cars. 

Those began parking under of Tendean-Ciledug Non-Toll Flyover (JLNT) until in front of SMPN 48 Cipulir.

Illegal Parking Still Rampant at Pasar Minggu Terminal

Zainul (34), a local residents admitted, illegal parking on Jl. Kebayoran Lama happens every day. Consequently, the road becomes narrow and disturbs the road user. "School students feel uneasy when they pass the place," he stated, Monday (1/23).

When being confirmed, Head of South Jakarta Transportation Sub-dept., Christianto admitted has repeatedly been controlling vehicles parked on the road. "But it doesn't give deterrent effect. When the officer focused on other places, they break the rule again," he expressed.

Hence he promised to control it again. It will be done integrally along with related unit.
