City Discussing Management of Rusunami

City Provincial Government is holding a Focus Group Discussion (FCD) about management of subsidized low-cost flat tower (rusunami). The discussion is held for the preparation of gubernatorial regulation.

Sumarsono, Jakarta Acting Governor disclosed FGD is held to collect input from various parties, including Ombudsman.
City to Build Rusunami"The main points of thought will be formulated in gubernatorial regulations to be issued later," he said, when he opened the discussion, at Tempo Doloe room, City Hall, Wednesday (1/25).
He explains rusunami issues must be resolved soon. The making of such regulation is City government's discretion prior to issuance of government regulation, which is derived from Law No. 20/2011 on Flat Tower.
"After government regulation is issued, gubernatorial regulation will adjust it. This is principal, because dynamic in the field is more quickly," he expressed.
He went on the say that gubernatorial regulation also regulates about formation process of tenants and owners associations (P3SRS).
Until now the discussion is still undergoing. Participants express their opinion on rusunami. Some who attend are Head of Jakarta Public Housing and Settlement Dept., Arifin, a representative of the Ombudsman and representatives of Real Estate Indonesia (REI).
