Puslabfor Examines Senen Market Fire Scene Location

Central Forensic Laboratory Team (Puslabfor) of Mabes Polri processing the crime scene location (TKP) related to fire which burned Block I and II of Senen Market, Central Jakarta.

The results should be analyzed first

Based on beritajakarta.com's observation, personnel explored almost every corner of the building, from the 1st floor to the 4th floor to look for evidence that can be obtained.

Commander of Senen Market Puslabfor Polri Team, AKBP Suparnomo said that the process which performed on Monday (23/1) was hampered by thick smoke and debris of collapsed buildings. Until now, the exact cause of the fire remains unknown because the identification process from the field is still needed.

"The results should be analyzed first. Today is no different from yesterday because there are many alternatives or possible causes of the fire," he said, Wednesday (25/1).

Meanwhile, Head of the Criminal Investigation Unit (Kasat Reskrim), Central Jakarta Police Office, AKBP Tahan Marpaung said that nine witnesses of both merchants and managers have been questioned. But he is still not able to give a conclusion yet.

"I can not conclude if Puslabfor results has not been issued," he closed.
