Garbage Enumerator Machine in Sebira Island Tested

Environment Sub-dept. of Seribu Islands Administration Regency tested garbage enumerator machine (L-Box) in Sebira Island, Harapan Island Urban Village, North Seribu Islands Sub-district. As the result, for about 1.5 tons of garbage were successfully reduced to 10 kilograms of ashes.

We hope with operating  L-Box, it could resolve trash problem in this island

L-Box operational in Sebira Island is unique because it is not using electricity as it's energy source but fuel.

For three hours operation, it takes 50 liters of premium fuel types. Meanwhile, for cooling down, it is required 200 liters of water.

16 L-BOX Machines Granted to Seribu Islands

"There is no electricity in Sebira Island, so we must use generator set. We also give training to L-Box operator," said Yusen Hardiman, Seribu Islands Environment Sub-dept. Head.

According to him, while on testing period, representation from tool provider company will assist the operator. Moreover, the garbage destroyer machine have 2 years guaranteed for service and repair.

"We will monitor it periodically. We hope with the operation of L-Box, it could resolve trash problem in this island," he closed.
