Garbage on Sidewalk of Jl. RE Martadinata Complained by Citizen

The citizen of RW 03, Sunter Agung Urban Village, Tanjung Priok, North Jakarta complaining about garbage on sidewalk of Jl. RE Martadinata. Even it is just for temporary, but the garbage heap be an eyesore to the city environment and stink.

For a month, the sidewalk became a temporary garbage disposal. The reason is to make it easier for personnel to pick trash up

Ramli (43), the resident, said that the sidewalk location is exactly in front of the entrance to RT 01/03, Sunter Agung Urban Village, and every night above 10 PM is used to be temporary garbage disposal by garbage cart transporter.

"For a month, the sidewalk became a temporary garbage disposal. The reason is to make it easier for personnel to pick trash up," he said, Sunday (1/29).

Illegal Garbage Disposal on Jalan Sueb Disciplined

North Jakarta Living Environment Sub-dept. Head, Slamet Riyadi, admitted that he has no information yet about it.

According to him, the thing is not right, because it is located on protocol road which is must be always clean. He will find a solution to make sidewalk becomes sterile from garbage.

"Protocol road must be sterile from everything. That is why we will find a solution to make the garbage heap is not placed on sidewalk anymore. Such as put a garbage container alongside the railroad so garbage is not littered everywhere," he closed.
