65,756 Residents Has Not Yet Processed E-ID Card

65,756 out of 7.2 million residents in Jakarta are recorded not yet processing e-ID card. Nevertheless, they have been registered in the final voter list (DPT).

That is why, Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Dept. appeals them to immediately process e-ID card. It is required for issuing a population certificate as replacement for e-ID that has not been printed.

"Because the population certificate serves as a self-identity in the forthcoming PIlkada, including other public services," said Edison Sian, Head of Jakarta Population and Civil Registration Dept., Thursday (2/2).

He explained the service will reopen in all urban village offices on Saturday (2/4) at 9 AM-12 PM.

"For those who are sick or elderly and cannot come to the service counter, just give your address to the officer. And they will come to help," he said.
