Jakarta Provincial Government will give Transjakarta bus service for free again to every citizen. Not only for elderly, disabled person, veterans, and Social Protection Card (KPS) holder, but also for mosque caretaker and guards (marbut).

For now, the free service for marbut is still in preparation progress

PT. Transjakarta President Director, Budi Kaliwono, said the policy has been planned since last year. Not only for marbut, but it is expanded for ecclesiastics too.

"For now, the free service for marbut is still in preparation progress. Free tickets provision for marbut still have problems because the data is incomplete," he said on Monday (2/6).

He told that the Transjakarta free service for marbut is as a form of attention and facilitation from Jakarta Provincial Government. Until now, his side still collecting data of all marbut with coordination with related Regional Work Units (SKPD).

"We are proud and pleased to be involved in Jakarta Provincial Government program which especially given to appreciate marbut dedication," he closed.
