100 RPTRA will Be Constructed in City This Year

City continues its efforts to multiply interaction space for citizen by building Child-Friendly Integrated Public Spaces (RPTRA).

100 new RPTRA construction will be located in residential which inhabitet by many school-age population, slumps, and prone of social issues and crime

It is planned that RPTRA will be built in 100 locations in five regions and one regency this year.

This Year, 20 RPTRAs in East Jakarta Developed

City Empowering, Child Protection, and Population Control Dept. Head, Dien Emmawati said that RPTRA is build to give interaction space for 90 percents from 10.2 millions people of Jakarta in total.

"100 new RPTRA construction will be located in residential inhabited by many school-age population, slumps, and prone of social issues and crime," she said, Sunday (2/12).

She explained that RPTRA which been built and operated right now is funded by Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program from private and City Budget (APBD).

"Next week, there are 114 RPTRA that funded by City Budget and private are ready to be inaugurated," she added, Sunday (2/12).

She continued that RPTRA is designed differently depends on residents needs.

"RPTRA's mission is to make a child-friendly city," she closed.
