Bad Weather, Several TPS in Seribu Islands Relocated

Several Voting Booth (TPS) for City Gubernatorial Election 2017 in Seribu Islands must be relocated due to bad weather.

"Several TPS were relocated to indoor because of bad weather," said Budi Utomo, Regent of Seribu Islands, Wednesday (2/15).

He added that one of TPS that has been relocated was TPS 06. Originally, this TPS was built in outdoor but then been relocated to community hall. Besides, TPS 07 was also relocated to Regency Plaza in Pramuka Island to avoid strong wind.

"We hope this condition can be maintained until the end of calculation process," he added.

According to him, the Gubernatorial Election (Pilkada) in his area did not have any significant problems even though several TPS have to be relocated.

"Voting activity in Panggang Island gone smoothly. Residents seems enthusiast," he closed.

As to know, permanent voters list (DPT) in Panggang Island are 4,221 voters which use their rights to vote in eight TPS.

From that thousands voters, one of them is blind, two are disabled persons, and four are mutes.
