Emergency Dam Built in Kali Baru, Kramat Jati

East Jakarta Rapid Response Task Force of Water Resources Dept. built an emergency dam to overcome flood at Herk Fork traffic light area on Jl. Raya Bogor, Kramat Jati.
20 Rapid Response Task Force personnel were deployed after it start to flood
Hek area is flooded due to overflowing water from Kali Baru, together with water load from headwaters area.
East Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. Maintenance Section Head, Yose Rizal, said besides build emergency dam, his side also cleaned trash in Hek Water Gate.

He added that his side also brought 500 bags full of sand to the location to make an emergency dam along riverbank of Kali Baru.
"When water start receding, hopefully the dam we built can hold flood water," he closed.
