All Floodgates Were Opened to Overcome Additional Flood

City Provincial Government overcomes additional flood from headwaters by open ing all floodgates thus water not hold in one point.

City Governor, Basuki Tjahaja Purnama, monitored floodgates condition, especially in rainy season like nowadays.

According to him, regions which flooded are areas that have not been normalized yet thus river's wide can not hold a massive volume of water.
"Actually the flooded regions are the areas those have not been normalized yet. Moreover, many residents does not have water channel in its location," he added.
Governor summoned Water Resources Dept. Head, Teguh Hendarwan, to report normalization progress. All narrowed rivers must be normalized back so it can be wide again.
"Even it have a problem, all of it must be normalized," he closed.
