Sidewalk Contractor in Jakarta Is Still Minimal

The number of contractors in the capital to develop and repair the sidewalk is deemed still minimal. Currently, the Goods and Service Procurement Agency (LKPP) has noted that the city only has 10 contractors.

Jakarta Bina Marga Dept. Head, Yusmada Faisal assessed sidewalk contractor should be added up to 20-30 people.
"Our problem last year is lack of the contractor. So it must be added, it's very important to support the existence of the sidewalk," he said, Saturday (2/18).

"Its model as we want. We want to propose it to LKPP. There must be specialist service providers to work it," he expressed.
His party could also propose additional contractor to Jakarta Goods and Services Procurement Agency (BPPBJ) via local catalog. Yet it should be discussed again with related agency.
This year, Bina Marga Dept. will repair sidewalks at 47 points by spending to Rp 200 billion.
