E. Jakarta City Government Held Evaluation Meeting of Flood Handling

East Jakarta Administration held coordination meeting about flood handling evaluation. Recent,ly number of refugees in two urban villages in that area reached to 1,277 people.

East Jakarta Vice Mayor, M. Anwar, said the meeting was held to evaluate their service to citizen related to flood disaster. As a result, from evacuation to refugees handling are considered quite adequate.

"Our handling is complete. Starting from evacuation, public kitchen, health post, and children theraphy have been held," he said, Tuesday (2/22).

Fast Food Aid Distributed to Flood Victims in Jakarta

Nevertheless, he urges urban village heads and sub-district heads to be active in prone-flood areas such as Makasar Sub-district, Duren Sawit, Jatinegara, and Cakung.

"Distribution must be precise thus handling can be optimize," he affirmed.

Meanwhile, City Regional Flood Handling (BPBD) Head, Husein Murad, said there were 927 people evacuated in Cipinang Melayu and 350 people in Cipinang Muara.

"The number is still fluctuating. But we already prepared public kitchen for citizen," he closed.
