"The street is low and flat with the drains. Consequently, it is often flooded when it rains," expressed Hari (48), Chairman of RW 13, Semper Barat Urban Village, Wednesday (3/1).
It is also worsened with the mud in the drains as wide as 60 cm on both sides of the street. Thus the drain cannot accommodate water in large quantities.

North Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept. Head, Yunaldi expressed, this year, he has programmed street elevation at six sub-districts. Each sub-district has six packages in form of street concretisation up to 25-30 cm height.
"We'll check the street condition first, and I hope it can be included in our program. If not, it will be programmed next year," he closed.
