RPTRA's Library Facilities will Be Added

For the sake of convenience for the visitor, Jakarta Library and Archive Dept. will complete the facility and infrastructure (sarpras) in 225 child-friendly integrated public spaces (RPTRA) this year. 

The facility of RPTRA's library is not only book racks, but others are also exist, like educational games

Section Head of Deposit for Jakarta Service Development and Preservation, Iwan Henry Wardhana disclosed, each library room must have service standards.

Some of the facilities and infrastructures that would be completed are book shelves, shoe racks, air conditioning (AC), educational games, picture frames, shoe racks, puzzle carpet, carpet, mat, colored pencils and other accessories.

"RPTRA in Jakarta is getting rampant, because we provide an empty room. The facility of RPTRA's library is not only book racks, but others are also exist, like educational games," he stated, Thursday (3/3).

To realize it, his side would spent Rp 2.8 billion. It is currently still under distribution stage. While for edu games facility, is under auction process.

"In some RPTRAs, we've sent facilities to them. What we want is long duration of reading, must be comfortable," he closed.
