Next Month, Lapangan Banteng Revitalized

We just make a fence on the sport field

The Lapangan Banteng revitalization which focuses on field fencing, sport facility renovation, toilet, small mosque, amphitheater construction and monument area arrangement, scheduled to be executed next month.

Gamal Sinurat, Assistant of Development and Environment disclosed fence installation as high as four meters in sport area is conducted through compensation for the expansion of the floor area ratio (KLB).

He continued, currently, fence installation that is predicted to spend Rp 9 billion is in the stage of treaty compliance.

"We just make a fence on the sport field. The developer already agreed to finance fencing and some supporting facilities around the fence. It is hoped will be completed seven months," he stated, Friday (3/3)

To renovate football field and basketball court, will be financed by corporate social responsibility (CSR). Yet the nominal and its project duration are not yet known.

As for revitalizing supporting facilities, amphitheater construction and monument arrangement, the project fund is not yet set. But it is predicted to spend Rp 45 billion.

After revitalization, the maintenance responsibilities to Lapangan Banteng Park would be handed over to Jakarta Youth and Sport Dept.

"This is just planning and working illustration. All will be discussed further," he closed.
