Pasar Senen's Merchant will Receive TPS Keys

After drawing, merchants of Senen Market's Block 1 and 2 eventually will receive temporary shelter (TPS) keys in Block V.

In detail, on first floor, there are 375 kiosks and on second floor there are 269 kiosks

PT. Pembangunan Jaya President Director, Sutopo Kristanto, said there are 644 kiosks provided at the temporary shelter. But, only 596 kiosks occupied by the merchants.

"In detail, on first floor, there are 375 kiosks and on second floor there are 269 kiosks. Tomorrow (today), we will hand over the keys to the merchant so they can trade again," he said, Monday (3/6) at Central Jakarta Mayor Office.

Four Temporary Shelters Provided For Senen Market Sellers

He added his side also opens the connector to Block IV, even escalator is already operated to ease merchant's access.

Central Jakarta Mayor, Mangara Pardede, stated that his side welcomed the on time TPS provision. Besides, used clothing merchant's request to sell on the second floor of Block V has been already accommodated by PT. Pembangunan Jaya.

"We asked merchants to understand that the location now is not as wide as before because this is TPS," he closed.
