Trading Location for Flat Residents will Be Re-Arranged

Jakarta Provincial Government will create a trading location for flat residents outside of their environment.

If trading location is in flat surrounding, the consumer is not only flat residents, but also passersby

City Public Housing and Residential Dept. Head, Arifin, said that City already placed a trading location for flat residents. But, because the consumer is also flat resident, so many vendor were closed.

"Based on this case, we will plan for vendors to trade outside of the flat, welcoming the passersby," he said at City Hall, Monday (3/6).

Locations in N. Jakarta Verified as Temporary Trading Location

His side will cooperate with City Cooperation, Small Medium  Enterprises and Trade Dept. (KUKMP) to realize this program.

"If trading location is in flat surrounding, the consumer is not only flat residents, but also passersby," he expressed.

There are several location that will be a pilot project for Jatinegara Barat Flat, Pulogebang, Rawa Bebek, Jatinegara Kaum, and Komaruddin. Trading location arrangement uses Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) and City Budget (APBD).

"Jatinegara Barat is using CSR and there are 50 vendors. While in Pulogebang is using APBD and there are 100 vendors. Another location will be surveyed first. Later on, all flat will be like these," he closed.
