Citizens living in Rawa Badak Selatan, Koja, North Jakarta are requesting the related agency to elevate Jalan Plumpang Semper in an attempt to minimize floods.

Faturochman (53), a citizen of RW 04, Rawa Badak Selatan said, the road position that has 5 kilometers length with 10 meters width is lower than the drains.

"Hence we want the road to be elevated up to 30 centimeters," he expressed.
When being confirmed, North Jakarta Bina Marga Sub-dept Head, Yunaldi admitted the road position is the same with the drains. Thus water always overflows into the road.
"We'll coordinate with North Jakarta Water Resources Sub-dept. to fix the drains before elevation," he closed.
