48,056 Students in West Jakarta Ready to Face UNBK

Tens of thousands of students in West Jakarta, starting from SMP, SMA and SMK are ready to face the computerized national examinations (UNBK) this year.

"Insya Allah (God willing), we will adopt UNBK system for students of SMP, SMA and SMK, either it is public or private," expressed Tadjuddin Nur, Head of West Jakarta Region I Education Sub-dept., Wednesday (3/29).

Tadjuddin describes, in region I, the exams will be participated by 6,493 students of SMK, 4,470 students of SMA and 12,765 students of SMP. And region II, there will be 6,691 students of SMK, 4,741 students of SMA and 12,896 students of SMP.

As for information, the exams will fall on April 3-6 for SMK, on April 10-13 for SMA, as well as package C on April 15-16 and April 22-23. Then for SMP, it will fall on May 2-4 and 8. "About package B exam, it will be held on May 13-14 and 20," he detailed.

At the same time, West Jakarta Region II Education Sub-dept. Head, Uripasih added, SD exam is not yet adopting computer, and will be held on May 15-17.

"The exam will use Regional Basis School Exam (USBD)," he stated.
