City will Build Water Tourism in Pesanggrahan River

Jakarta Environment Dept. Water Division Cleaning Management Unit (UPK), planned to build water tourism in Pesanggrahan River, South Jakarta.

We will start from CNI River in West Jakarta first. If it already running, then the next is Pesanggrahan River.

Water Tourism will be built using private enterprises' Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) fund.

"We will start from CNI River in West Jakarta first. If it already running, then the next is Pesanggrahan River.This water tourism will be financed entirely by CSR," said Junjungan Sihombing, Head of City Environment Dept. Water Division UPK, in Ciliwung River, Thursday (3/30).

Water Tourism to Be Provided at Reservoir and Lake

He explained that water tourism construction in Pesanggrahan River will be start in the mid of April. Before realizing that program, his side already coordinated with related departments first.

"Later on we will build vehicle such as water bicycle in that river," he closed.
