Jakarta Library and Archival Dept. is preparing budget amounting to Rp 1.056 billion to add more books in i-Jakarta application.
At this time, there have been almost 14,000 book titles in digital version owned by i-Jakarta.
City Has I-Jakarta CenterJakarta Library and Archival Dept. Head, Tinia Budiati committed will continue to add more book titles in i-Jakarta as requested by the City Council (DPRD).
"We've prepared money by Rp 1.056 billion for purchasing e-book this year. It is based on the e-book data that has been sent to us," he stated, at City DPRD building, Thursday (3/30).
The application itself has been downloaded up to 170 times with 86,000 members who are actively borrowing books.
